I’m being sponsored on GitHub now. I do most of my work here.

People can directly sponsor me including you. Please share the link to your friends, every little thing helps. You’ll also get perks from me.

It started with my personal curiosity on hacking my own power-wheelchair that runs off on a neat protocol called R-Net. Unfortunately R-Net is closed-source and a black-box protocol. That was until I decided to change that. I made an OSS library of sorts in Python that allows you to control your chair with multiple devices. Such a Raspberry Pi or linux based computer as seen here in this cool video! It didn’t stop there though. Your smart cellphone can work with your chair too.

You can see the library code here: can2RNET

Many hours were spent with friends unravelling the mystery of R-Net. We spent 100+ hours total from the start of the research. It was brutal as we were sweating our tears from our eyes. It felt like we had many nights with no sleep. The hard work paid off though as it helped launched my evolving career and allowed me to present at professional conference talks. I was able to speak at amazing events such as DEFCON 24, Kaspersky SAS, and many more events. Awards were won and university research teams were contacting me to help with their projects. Such as the SmartWheels chair prototype. I couldn’t ask for an awesome life at age 26. It will only get better as time goes on.

In addition to all of that, I also maintain a privacy-aware OSS AI assistant called Project Naomi. Go check it out. If you like it, please consider sponsoring that on GitHub too. https://github.com/NaomiProject or feel to help out in whatever way you want.

If you want to know more about me, watch this cool introduction video https://youtu.be/kJR1fNI8iNQ

Your sponsorship helps me continue to contribute. It helps offset the costs of getting to conferences, and pay for hosting and other promotional expenses associated with my projects.
